Consular Invoice

A document prepared by the shipper and certified in the country of origin by a consul of the country of importation. It shows the transaction details and origin of the goods.

Consular Invoice

In international commerce, an invoice signed and sealed by a consul of the importing country who is posted in the exporting country. A consular invoice builds trust between the buyer and seller and helps reduce the possibility that the seller (exporter) will overcharge the buyer (importer).
