Ammah

The raid resulted in the killing of Aljan Mande, Jamsid Mande, and Radjak Ammah. All three were part of the Program Against Violent Extremism that Hataman, as ARMM Governor, instituted to fight terrorism and extremism.

But Ammah et al reported that in 200 patients with fever, 17% had concurrent malaria and typhoid fever based on bacteriological proven diagnosis as compared to 47.9% based on the Widal test (20) However, co-infection with malaria and typhoid was reported among typho malarial patients in Cameroon.

Waqf studies have consistently demonstrated that the Islamic economic system is inherently and self-consciously civil societal in nature, geared to socio-economic equity for the common good whereby private interest (maslahah nafsiyyah) is seamlessly integrated into the larger public interest (maslahah 'ammah), leading to what may be called an economy of the common good.

This reinvestment of surplus wealth into promoting the common good (maslahah 'ammah) is achieved through various means, such as charity (sadaqah and zakat), endowments (awqaf), gift-giving (hibah), and bequests (wasiyyah).

According to Abu Ammah [2], the expectations of the citizens of the country regarding the nursing profession can be materialized by the removal of the social elements attached to the profession.

He said, "would you like a newspaper ya ammah [aunt]?" Even if that was the last newspaper on earth I would not have bought it.

At the level of these works, there is a potential for dialogue with people of different faiths, as noted by Muslim theologian Rabiatu Ammah. (27) In the Society's Indonesian experience, members of the group helped focus the local church on evangelization, served the existing Christian communities, worked to develop others, and thus indirectly countered the impact of Islamic missionary efforts.

Since there are evidences to suggest violations of women and girls' rights in the Ghanaian Muslim contexts (Ammah 2009, Issaka-Toure 2009, 2012), the attention of the paper has a particular concern with the way Muslim women in heterosexual relationships and girls have had their basic rights curtailed.

The winners in the Special School Management Award (girls) were: 12th Intermediate School in the Eastern Province with Ammah bint Mohammad bin Zaman Zinel as school principal (1st place); Third School in Asir with Muna Ali Shaie Ahmad as school principal, (2nd place); and Second Secondary School in Mubarraz in the Eastern Province with Buthaina Abdulrahman Abdulwahab Al-Mosa as school principal (3rd place).

They have done the same with the term "madrasa," which simply means "school" in Arabic (for example "madrasa ammah" means "public school").
