Issued Sockpuppetry Warning.

[edit]

This is LoveHop123. I noticed that you issued me a warning for sockpuppetry recently. I have a couple things to say:

1. I have already apologized multiple times for the disruptive edits and odd behavior, which a conversation about me was closed after potentially being blocked due to my apologies.

2. I only have one account. Also, I only edit Wikipedia while logged in, not out.

Just wanted to let you know. Again, I apologize for the issues I've caused in Talk:Hurricane Hilary (2023). Write to me via my talk page if you wish to discuss this any further. Thank you. LoveHop123 (talk) 11:53, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@LoveHop123: Hello, and thanks for contacting me - UltraViolet lists the edit summary as a warning, but it was more of a notification that I opened up an SPI. I don't hold anything against you or the other editor - I just noticed some odd behavior, which is why I requested a check. I acted on my own suspicions and did what I felt was right, but I don't mean to cause you any trouble. Thanks again for reaching out to clarify! PurpleLights 16:32, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Thanks for letting me know. I understand a lot of people commit such problems. Thanks, again. LoveHop123 (talk) 20:48, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:59, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! I am sending this alert to all members of the WikiProject Weather and editors who have recently edited in the realm of tornadoes.

There is a large and important discussion ongoing, with the goal to completely overhaul and improve the List of F5 and EF5 tornadoes. The previous improvement attempt back in 2022/2023 gained almost no participation. This alert is being sent out so these discussions hopefully gain a reasonably-sized participation, so the F5/EF5 tornado article, one of the most viewed weather-related articles on Wikipedia, can be improved for all readers!

If you wish to participate, please visit: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Weather/Possible F5/EF5/IF5 tornadoes. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 17:31, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
