Amtrak now serves this station!

[edit]

Amtrak started serving this station in October 2007. Could someone with more extensive Wikipedia experience update the page accordingly? Alika (talk) 09:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Previous Amtrak service

[edit]

The Orange County Commuter probably served this station prior to the Metrolink handover, but I haven't been able to find any sources discussing the opening of the station in 1993-1994. Mackensen (talk) 19:03, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Best name for this article?

[edit]

This isn't necessarily a move request per se, but I was debating between the current article name and the formal name "Orange Transportation Center" which name would be the best for this article. I'm frankly not entirely certain which name is WP:COMMONNAME, though I assume it might be the current article name. However, using the formal name would also be in line with other station articles which use their formal names (ex: San Bernardino Transit Center, Fullerton Transportation Center, Irvine Transportation Center) and that seems to follow some sort of precedence, and may provide WP:NATURALDIS. Thoughts? OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 10:57, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orange station (California)Orange Transportation Center – In line with other station articles which use their formal names (ex: San Bernardino Transit Center, Fullerton Transportation Center, Irvine Transportation Center) which seems to be the general precedence for naming train station articles, and provides WP:NATURALDIS.
