How to Manage Nintendo Account Usage Information Settings

In this article, you'll learn how to manage your preferences for Nintendo Account settings related to the data Nintendo collects about your usage of Nintendo's products and services.

These options allow you to choose how you would like Nintendo to use and share information about your use of our products and services (including your use of the Nintendo Account service). For more information about Nintendo's privacy practices, please review the Nintendo Privacy Policy.

Complete these steps

  1. Go to the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
  2. Select Privacy and Other Settings.
  3. Select Change in the "Data Usage - Opt-Out Preferences" section.
  4. Toggle between allowing or not allowing your information to be shared for the following:
    • Analytics: Choose whether or not to allow Nintendo to use and analyze your information to perform analytics, improve our products and services, and provide you with enhanced functionality.
    • Targeted Advertisements: Choose whether or not to allow Nintendo to use or share your information to provide you with personalized advertisements, recommendations, or other tailored content.
