Is there any way to disable this option? In Theater mode, tapping the display still works. In water lock, tapping the display still works.
It is really annoying because if someone touches it, the screen lights up.
Tapping the display to cause it to wake is the way Theatre mode is supposed to work.
To wake Apple Watch when theater mode is on, tap the display, press the Digital Crown or side button, or turn the Digital Crown.

Tapping should not, however, wake the watch when the water lock is engaged. I'd start by unpairing and re-pairing the watch.

I have the Ultra 2 and if I activate the Water Lock and I tap the screen it wakes. I cannot do anything else of course, but it does wake.
I guess it is a setting to see your progress when a swim workout is started, idk.
Funny thing is that the Action Button still works. You cannot do anything after, but pushing it opens the workout app.
I don't have an Ultra 2 so I can't provide any corroboration.
