Crawler Profile
Everyone talks about bots crawling pattern and its priority to the top level pages than the deep level pages, but there wasn't any proof of it, neither did Matt Cutts talked about it anywhere. So, we thought of working on this piece to understand bots crawling pattern and optimize our site's architecture accordingly.
Crawler profile helped us understand the crawl frequency for pages at different level and positioned on various sections of the website. This helped us in our SEO strategy…Everyone talks about bots crawling pattern and its priority to the top level pages than the deep level pages, but there wasn't any proof of it, neither did Matt Cutts talked about it anywhere. So, we thought of working on this piece to understand bots crawling pattern and optimize our site's architecture accordingly.

This helped us in our SEO strategy for promoting the premium pages on the site. Graph theory based solution for Internal Linking

Solving the problem of efficient internal linking for a travel brand wasn't that easy. Started the project at 50% orphan pages and managed to achieve 99% coverage after multiple iterations and tweaks.

Machine based Content Generation

Building scalable solutions is what I love and this was one of them. After trying various solutions available in the market, we agreed to try an open source solution considering the flexibility, cost, efficiency etc. parameters and it was a great success.

International Setup Migration (GoEuro to Omio)

With global expansion plans in mind, GoEuro became Omio on Feb. 26, 2019. In this project, the key responsibility was to ensure a smooth SEO migration for the international setup of 27 domains covering different markets/languages to respective Omio domains.

Omikron was responsible for handling the large amount of content for Lazada Group in the fastest possible way - a platform that writers use for submitting their content which is then reviewed by editors and based on the feedback, the content goes back to the writer for an edit, or it goes to the production if approved by the editor.

Regression suite was built to ensure that everything related to SEO works fine after completion of every deployment cycle.
You need to ingest a set of sample URLs covering the whole set of various page types at Flipkart, and this suite used to check every SEO property on these pages after a deployment completes. Magic Pages

Magic pages was the name given to this project after its magical impact when we created a new page and submitted it for indexing using GWT (of course, it was decently optimized from SEO perspective). After 5 hours, it was ranking on #6 in google SERP.
Due to our bad category taxonomy, we came across some cases wherein we have multiple pages targeting the same keyword i.e keyword cannibalization. Now, we wanted to solve it the best possible way as we're Flipsters. So, instead of…Magic pages was the name given to this project after its magical impact when we created a new page and submitted it for indexing using GWT (of course, it was decently optimized from SEO perspective). After 5 hours, it was ranking on #6 in google SERP.
Due to our bad category taxonomy, we came across some cases wherein we have multiple pages targeting the same keyword i.e keyword cannibalization. Now, we wanted to solve it the best possible way as we're Flipsters. So, instead of traditional SEO solution of 301 redirecting or rel canonical to handle this, we thought of having a new page with all SEO properties in place along with rich data set and we started woking on this.
We wrote a module that was calling the search API to fetch the result set and than SEO wrapper on top of it to override all the SEO properties to make it well optimized for the bots. The REST based service is built on python + flask, mysql is used for the data store with redis on top of it for the caching. The website directly interacts with the redis for fetching required elements, its lightening fast, a single request takes around 0.25 ms only.
