The Sacred Hunt was a limited-time event that was introduced in the Age of War - Chapter 4 on the second of April, 2024 and ran until the 15th of April[1]. It was scheduled to run again between 1-10 of May, 2024[2], but due to the difficulty of the hunt, the end date was changed to the end of the chapter[3], being June 17th, 2024.
In this event, players can challenge the champions of the Lord of Beasts, Jhebbal Sag, and prove themselves worthy as champions in their own right.
Starting the Hunt[]
Heralds can be found in various locations who speak of the Hunt.
At night, werehyenas scaled to the player's level can suddenly ambush players. When killed, they will drop a Hunter's Satchel containing a flesh map indicating the location of the camp of Jhebbal Sag, as well as Gnarled Fangs needed to buy lures to begin hunting. Players have to be at least level 20 before they will start getting ambushed. Ambushes will only happen during the night hours, outside landclaim, outside other combat, and has a five minute cooldown before the same player can be ambushed again.
- Whelp Hunters appear from levels 20-30 and drop 1-2 Gnarled Fangs
- Fledgling Hunters appear from levels 30-40 and drop 1-3 Gnarled Fangs
- Blooded Hunters appear from levels 40-50 and drop 2-3 Gnarled Fangs
- Venerable Hunters appear from levels 50-60 and drop 2-4 Gnarled Fangs

The Camp of Jhebbal Sag[]
The Camp of Jhebbal Sag is located southwest of The Den in the Exiled Lands and southeast of The Tower on the Isle of Siptah.
The main feature of the camp is an unowned altar where players can craft a Grand Champion Lure or Malodorous Grand Champion Lure if they have learned the recipes.
Here, one can find the Bloody Tongue of Jhebbal Sag, who can explain more about the Sacred Hunt. Asking her what she is doing here is necessary to learn Sanctification, which allows one to craft the Grand Champion Lure. Additionally, players can also tell her that they wish to leave the hunt, which will prevent them from being ambushed at night.
The Master of The Hunt can also be seen in the camp. He will speak of Gnarled Fangs and offer a selection of trades in exchange for them.
Hunting Champions[]
Once one has purchased a Champion Lure, they can begin challenging Jhebbal Sag's champions by finding the marks of Jhebbal Sag and placing a lure upon them, resulting in the champion appearing from a thick cloud of smoke.
All of the champions have extremely high health pools that will make them nearly impossible to defeat by normal means. However, if one applied the Jhebbal Sag Hunter warpaint and takes off all of their armor, they will gain a 100x damage bonus against the champions. Thralls can also be equipped with the warpaint.
When a champion has been defeated, the mark of Jhebbal Sag will say they are preparing for their next hunt for five minutes before they can be summoned again.
