Accursed

General[]

Accursed are one of the factions native to the Isle of Siptah.

Lore[]

The Accursed are people who have made deals with the strange creatures brought to the Isle of Siptah through rifts. The Accursed have their minds twisted and are no longer quite the same as they once were. The Accursed have taken up residence in the center of the island, where the Maelstrom rages the strongest.

According to a series of weapons dropped by Ridrik the Mad, the Accursed generally have differing ideals on account of their madness. However, they agree that there is a hierarchy of existence:

Death or Morda represents the demise of the old way of thinking before an Accursed's awakening in the outer dark.
Enthrallment or Skada represents the point after awakening when an Accursed submits mind, body, and soul to the whispers from the outer dark.
Bryta or madness is the point at which the whispers from the outer dark begin to make sense. Mania and psychosis to follow.

Description[]

The Accursed wear Cimmerian armor (Cimmerian Steel, Cimmerian Fur) and use Star Metal weapons. This, combined with their innate stats, makes them Siptah's equivalent to the Forgotten Tribe.

Notes[]

Named Accursed thralls seem to be the same as the Forgotten Tribe, with "the Accursed" added to the end of their name. Their map icons however, are those of the Heirs of the North.
