  2. This Is Our Worship: Volume III
    by Various Artists
I've just spent the last 2 hours in the kitchen cooking up a storm, with this playing in the background. There are sooo many amazing tracks on offer here. So much variety and music to enjoy. It's been a blast having such brutal, (but) encouraging music to accompany the lovely aromas of freshly cooked curries! 😁
    Definitely recommended. 👍

  4. Epicloud
    by Devin Townsend
    True North True North
Where to start with Epicloud? Wow. It's very heavy at times- bombastic, but it's also quite a melodic album too. The lyrics are generally very positive (which I appreciate a lot) and the production and musicianship are both impeccable. Devy nails it again! It has catchiness, but also a lot of depth and complexity too. This is a seriously great album.
  5. No Pity For A Coward
    by The Synics Awakening
From Life To Death From Life To Death
This album is amazing! The bombastic delivery of doomy metal is wonderful to listen to. The gloom and intensity weighs heavily and the production is very nicely done. This is a great listen! (And for only 1USD it can live in your Bandcamp library too!) Do it!

  10. A Glimpse of Light
    by Longing
Just when you start to think of how beautiful it is, Glimpse throws a brutal curve ball that surprises and exhilarates. The whole track balances on the delicate line of gorgeous melody lines and bone crunching intensity. Fantastic track.

  14. Polarized
    by FLOOD
Been wanting to get this since it released. Some fantastic thrash on offer here but some other musical influences as well. A solid album that I'm really just delving into atm- I feel like I'll need a while to take it all in... 👍

  16. Sanctuary
    by The Beckoning (Canada)
  17. Requiem - Fortissimo
    by Virgin Black
I've wanted this album for years... It's very expensive (if you manage to even find a cd for sale)! Thank you for getting this on BC! Such bleak, downtuned vibes. Even the slow, plodding (doomy) pace overall adds to the darkness of the album.Wonderful, dark, heavy album from VB. 👍
  18. Damnatio Memoriae

  19. Ghoti Hook
    by Ghoti Hook
I loved Ghoti all the way back in the Sumo days. They're still so good. They always had a great, rocking vibe and an amazing sense of humour. It's great to see that all these years later and they still rock out just the same. GH are already missed. Fellas, if you ever want to get back in the studio and make another of these gems, it'll make a lot of people very happy! 😉
  20. O Come Emmanuel (The One Foretold)
    by Blood Thirsty
I generally loathe overhyped/ pop versions of Christmas carols. I really love carols when they are done well (usually that means 'heavy'). :)
O Come Emmanuel is a great track. A lovely brutal Christmas track for my collection. I love it! Thanks BT.
