What is the best Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to learn for career advancement?
Salesforce has been the market leader for a long time but there are a lot of career opportunities right now working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 which is rapidly growing and gaining market share. If you're interested in working more broadly across technologies, learning Dynamics 365 also gets you into creating low code apps and automations, working with Azure AI, Copilot, Microsoft 365 tools including Teams and Outlook, so you can have a huge variety of learning and growth opportunities.

How can attending conferences help you build your CRM professional network?
Consider community-run conferences as well as the big commercial tech conferences. Community conferences are run by volunteers in a tech community, often the most enthusiastic and dedicated people working with that tech and great at networking, and the speakers are usually also community volunteers who love to talk about their topic with new people who show an interest. These conferences are smaller and more relaxed than formal conferences and are a great way to get involved with the technical community, make friends, improve your skills, and start a journey of sharing your knowledge with others.

What are the most popular CRM certification programs?
If you want to be a certified consultant for CRM on the Microsoft platform, in addition to one of these exams (eg Sales Functional Consultant) you should also do the PL-200 Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant exam, which covers all the skills and capabilities of the full platform underneath- including configuration, security and automation. That will also skill you up to build custom low code apps on the platform.
