Nate is the deputy editor at Ars Technica, where he has written about tech policy, legal issues, and philosophy for nearly two decades. His most recent book is In Emergency, Break Glass: What Nietzsche Can Teach Us About Joyful Living in a Tech-Saturated World, which is much funnier than it sounds. Nate has an MA in English Literature from the University of North Carolina, and he lives in Philadelphia with his family and his collection of board games.
