Private match invites in PGA Tour have stopped working

I am playing PGA Tour on Xbox cloud gaming. My friend also plays on Xbox cloud. He has never been able to successfully invite me to a private match. i receive the invite but the match never loads. I have been able to invite him to a private match. However, this has now stopped working for me.

\is this a common fault? If so, any idea how I can work a way around this?

What is the issue with private matches on PC.  My friend and I have tried everything we can to try and play together and every time we try to start a match the game kicks us back to the main menu.  We have no issues going to a online match against a random person.  We are both getting quite frustrated as all we want to do is play a game with friends.

I'm also on Xbox cloud gaming and I have the same issue. This wasn't a problem before the recent change in the web browser interface. Very frustrating.
