I have already logged this as case #182556223. When i try to log in, i see the normal '____ is connecting to the EA servers...' message for a few seconds. Then i get the message that says: 'You lost your connection to the EA servers. Sign back in to access online features. See ea.com/unable-to-connect'. I have tried all the normal troubleshooting steps and none of them have helped.
Has anyone else had this issue before?

I have the same issue - i guess we need to wait until attention is given here as it is an older game with less incentive to provide support

Someone else found a temporary solution, turn off Login Verification under Security on the EA website.

Thanks mate, had been checking in with support for the last 3 days and not getting anywhere, but this fix seems to have helped for the moment!
