Hi, I have the disc version of NHL 07 setup started perfectly fine but it comes to a point asks me for directx 9.0c to continue and suddenly stops the setup process. My pc is Windows 10 and have DX12 as reported by dxdiag. I took the liberty and go ahead to get dx9 package from Microsoft website and installed it without a fuss, however game setup still asks the same thing and I cannot continue installing.
Dxwebsetup says I already have newer version of it and directx_june2010_redist installed with success. All from MS website.
Please lend me a hand, I really want to play this classic as it is my fav NHL game due to it's awesome soundtrack.
What do I do?
