Command & Conquer Games Stuck on "Launching game..."

Command & Conquer games are refusing to launch from the EA app. They are stuck on the "Launching game..." window.

Sometimes they throw an error as seen in the attached pictures.

I've tried various "solutions" from different forum threads, none of them worked.

I've also went through lots of troubleshooting steps provided by the EA support chat such as:

Reinstalling the EA app.

Changing User Account Control settings.

Launching the EA app as administrator.

Updating my graphics drivers.

Creating a new windows user.

These did nothing either.
