I agree all the way. A golfer who could hit 400 yards would most likely appear 30 years later. @Katybee_1313 mentioned that LIV took a big chunk of golfers; that too hurts the prospect for future golf games. Who knows if next EA Golf game becomes LIV Tour.
The series that would benefit more is the NBA 2K series since these games feature Caitlin Clark and Steph Curry. It might be a good idea to ride the coattails and include Caitlin Clark as a playable golfer in the next iteration of EA PGA Tour. PGA Tour 2K23 has Michael Jordan and Steph Curry as playable golfers. If EA can add Caitlin Clark before 2K does, that could help.
