The game lacks presentation and the atmosphere of an actual hockey game. This is mostly important in world of chel, the arena, music, and overall atmosphere is dry… over the last few NHL’s they have gotten better with the crowd animation and the intensity which isn’t the problem, it’s the customization on what you want your arena to sound like and feel like. The goal songs are complete garbage and nobody even knows any of the artist or songs. If you compare this game to a game like 2k and madden you will quickly realize how bad NHL is. And not only that NHL 24 was the most choppy buggy NHL I have ever played, not sure if it was due to the graphic increase but it felt so delayed and skill stick was completely ruined. 

overall this biggest thing the game lacks other than a few game modes is the presentation, music, goal songs.

This could be said for any of the game modes. They all lack presentation. Win the Stanley Cup in franchise mode, no banner raising in your first home game. Same for the President's Trophy, or Conference Champions. If any players win an award, no presentation.  Player plays his 1000th game, no video montage. Player retires, no video montage. These are all this that could add to the depth and dynamics of the games. Show the pre-game warm ups, bring back Winter Classic playability. Allow us to participate in the All Star Tournament and play the All Star Game. So much more could be done. Make the Franchise Mode have an actual storyline that changes each time you play. 

In CHEL you could show pre-game warmups, even allow some practice during that time. Have announcers who actually build the hype of the game. They could point out players to look out for on each team.

@kadendaniels9 Yeah. I want to see sponsor logos for Discover, Ford or Amazon, fan reactions outside the arena during the playoffs and different recordings of the national anthems for the anthem cutscene.
