Why can't we save while in CAS? [ Edited ]

Let's be honest here: I know, you know, EA knows, and everyone knows the game crashes all the time. So why aren't we allowed to save our sims while in CAS?

Sometimes we spend a lot of time perfecting our sims, because we are still not able to copy and paste makeup, accessories, outfit, etc (yet another flaw in the game if you ask me) just for the game to crash and we lose everything because we weren't able to save every step.

It's ridiculous that we need to close CAS just to be able to save our progress.

I cannot think of ONE single reason why we aren't able to have this feature.

Is EA thinking about it at all?

And while we are on the subject: when is EA giving us the ability to copy makeup, accessories, outfit, etc.?

We've been asking for this features for ages now.
