Edit attributes in franchise

Why can’t we edit players’ attributes in franchise mode? It seems so simple and easy to add into the game and NHL is the only sports game that doesn’t have this feature.

Because it's a fun feature and we all know EA gave up on adding fun features to Franchise Mode awhile ago. I really hope they add it in NHL 25, I haven't bought an NHL game since 22 since they rarely add things go Franchise Mode.
