I have tried 100s of different names, alle end up being rejected. How do I fix this ?

Have same problem. No matter what we write it will not accept our team name. Ea wake up. No one can create a new club.. ! 

We have tried everything. With space, without space in name. Big letters, small letters. Everything got refused. So it must be a problem in your game. Fix it EA !!
