Love that it's marked as solved even if it's obviously not solved. I hope EA makes some in-game changes to the event reward system to make it equally achievable for everyone, like they have in the past when they realized that it just wasn't working.

Hi there! I noticed that we've both been experiencing issues with sending gifts in Apex Legends. I wanted to share that I've successfully managed to send gifts to people who have the controller icon next to their names. It seems like the key to solving this problem might be related to the type of platform being used. Hope this helps you out!
