Don't listen to people and buy it!
My previous monitor was a normal VA 1440p screen from LG. I took about 3 days to make a decision on what monitor to get, I knew I wanted an Oled, 240hz or more, and 1440p.I work from home and I play competitive FPS games (Apex, COD, Rainbow 6, and Overwatch 2).Let me tell you, I do not regret buying this! I have a decent rig 4080, 7950x, 32 gb ddr5 and I am still getting 200 plus frames in most of the games that I play. And if I wanted to get really sweaty I still have the option to play at 16:9 or 16:10 with the black bars on the side, given that it's an oled it doesn't really bother me.Now the image quality on this display is amazing! A lot of other reviews from people where saying that this monitor should have been 4k but at that point you won't really get the full 240hz ability, even with a very strong gpu.The monitor does have a matte finish but as you can see in the images my monitor is Infront of a window but even when my room is lit the image quality is still bright and there are no problems to view. When viewing texts I honestly don't think it's as bad as people make it up to be. You can read it plain and simple and if you are upgrading this from an old panel or a 1080 p I guarantee you it's going to look better or maybe as good. So don't let that be a point from preventing you from getting this.I do want to mention I did get this monitor on Sale, I see that LG frequently drops the price on this so I would say keep an eye but if drops below 1100 pull the trigger and get this thing! The other option if you want more connectivity (USB C display) is the ASUS PG34WCDM but you are going to be paying around 1400 usd after taxes. If you are a big baller I would say go for that one, it's beautiful. However, this one is still very good looking and the stand it comes with appears to be more sturdy and more cable manageable.

This monitor is beast and I stole it for 750$. If this was full price though at 1300$ there's better options but this is def a premium monitor. Reminder this is OLED technology so text clarity is not a strong suit due to the technology so that in no way shape or form knocks off any stars from this 5 star product. It's excellent for gaming! Super responsive, high refresh rate, solid build quality. It does have a matte coating but it's really not even remotely close to as bad as people say. Picture quality is still bright, vibrant and crystal clear. One thing to note is normal ultrawides are normally 1800r curve and at this curve being slight makes it wide and immersive. Now this one with 800r curve bends it so aggressively that it honestly takes away from the immersion as the sides of the monitor are brought closer together to make the harder curve but this is not bad at all. You can see the whole monitor better with peripherals making it easier to use for fps games. I was torn between this and immersion but then I decided to return this just cause I came to the conclusion I rather have immersion from 1800r curve so I then picked up the g85sb from Samsung but his LG is so dope and it looks so good! When or if I become a little more competitive I might get this again. Somehow to me I think this 800r curve makes it easier to aim on mouse and keyboard. I feel like seeing the whole monitor easier and the curve fits the eyes natural curve. Might be placebo but it works for me. If your on the fence I'd buy it. Return it if you want to try something else but keep in mind the refund process is 30 days so if your offered payments from Amazon this process would be more appealing as you are not putting the full price down.

I tried other oled displays and this is the only one that looks very good. Very nice screen quality and the colors on it are great. Matte display but helps a lot if you’re in a room with lights around you. Text quality is good and not fuzzy like the other lg monitors. Built in speakers it has actually sound good and not crappy like other monitors. Once you get this monitor you can’t go back to anything with lower specs. Very good monitor for gaming and also for watching movies. A little pricey but I would say if you have the money it’s worth it. You have to pay for great quality.

I've been scouting for the very best OLED curved, ultra wide, gaming monitor and thought this was going to be my stop. It's not. Sadly it's not because I really had high hopes for this monitor based on all the reviews.

I use a Mac and a PS5 and the text isn't as bad as people say but it's not great. It's not super blurry in some cases. It's basically like old school type write text. Not horrid but for the price you expect better.

For gaming it's good but it doesn't get as bright as I'd like.
The curve is great for the distance I like to sit away from the monitor (about arms length). It's immersive and good for gaming and watching movies.

For productivity/work it's ok but also not great. Text is where you look forward to the greatness of the display here but it just falls short and it's just a bit underwhelming for what you pay for this.

Last thing - the matte finish is ok, not bad. Definitely prefer a glossy finish over this one but I can see the value in this finish for bright lit rooms. It's actually the best matte finish I've ever seen.

TLDR:

The brightness on this model was supposed to be superior to the previous model but it's still underwhelming.
Text isn't bad but also underwhelming.
Gaming is responsive, colors are decent but they don't pop, they dont' stand out. They're regular OLED level and really didn't wow me the way QD OLED Samsung/Alienware models have.

My overall rating is: Underwhelming. 5/10
Would only recommend when the price drops for this

Text looks fine, but that’s not why you get this anyway, is it?

The monitor looks great. It’s about the same height as a 27”, so it felt natural to transition. It just kinda feels like a 27” with more field of view. The colors are great, I LOVE having the full resolution and refresh rate over HDMI, something I was looking for to make easier use of the elgato 4k x, but all this comes at one major caveat.

This thing is not worth its full retail price. I got mine for like $750 on sale. This has I think like 300 nit peak brightness which is criminally low for something that even MENTIONS HDR, even if it’s one of the “HDR’nt” specs. It is noticeably dim, so dim I had to turn my $200 secondary monitor’s brightness down to like 70% because it was distractingly brighter. Contrast is still fine because it IS still an OLED, but compared to the 77” C2 I have literally touching it on the left side, I mean… this monitor is less than half the size, 1440p, and retails for like half the price, and it’s less than a third of the brightness? Yes, it’s curved and yes it’s 240hz but there’s no way around the problem that is the value proposition. At full price you’ve got some steep competition.

I don’t regret it for the sale price, it still looks GOOD, but as someone who doesn’t return things ever, I would’ve if I paid over a grand for this.

I had this monitor on my wish list for months and it went on sale for Prime Day so I had to pull the trigger. It was 34% off, or $786.58(CAD) which was the cheapest it had been since it was released. Honestly it is a lot of monitor for that price, this thing is beautiful. I have seen some people complaining that it doesn't get bright enough, but I am confused as to how. It gets bright enough to cause me some serious eye strain, even at 90% in SDR. Definitely recommend this as a main display. It is my first OLED so I will update if any issues such as burn-in arise.

As described everything was clean.
The monitor doesn't have any issues. I really liked using the new WOLED. Satisfying to play and watch movies.

Cons=
The monitor is a bit pricey.
I wish it could adjust monitor a bit lower to fit my eyes.

Other than that if you have the budget it's worth. be in mind to have top tier pc since it's 4k.
