ANIMAL RESCUE SANCTUARY

A better life for the pigs and paws that cross our path.

INTRO TO WHO WE ARE...

Welcome to Pigs ‘n’ Paws, a heartfelt sanctuary nestled just a few kilometers outside Cullinan, South Africa. As a dedicated non-profit organization, we rescue and rehabilitate pigs who have faced abuse, exploitation, or abandonment. In response to the surge in popularity of pot-bellied pigs as pets over the past decade, our doors and hearts have opened to countless pigs in need.

At Pigs ‘n’ Paws, we provide every pig with love, respect, and necessary rehabilitation. For those who are adoptable, we find loving homes, while those who stay with us receive lifetime refuge and sanctuary. Proudly the largest pig sanctuary in South Africa, we are home to over 300 pigs of all shapes and sizes, along with three cows, 3 sheep, 8 horses, a bunch of ducks, feral cats and numerous dogs. Our mission extends beyond rescue; we aim to educate the public about pigs and help guide pig owners on providing the best care for their companions.

Our sanctuary thrives on the generosity of the public, supported by one-time donations, and monthly sponsorships of our pigs. Join us in making a difference in the lives of these intelligent, sentient beings.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

SPONSOR A PIG

Virtually sponsor one or more of our beautiful pigs. Your monthly contribution will help us feed and care for the animals. You can also visit your sponsored pig(s) as and when you can. Click here to sponsor a pig!

MAKE A DONATION

Your donation will go towards food and the well-being of our sanctuary's animals. The need for more pigs to be housed by the sanctuary is growing and we can't do it without your donations. Please donate to this worthy cause here.

ADOPT A PIG

If you are interested in adopting one of our gorgeous babes and become a pig parent, make contact with us and we will guide you through the adoption process. A site visit might be required. Contact us for more information.
