Description

Picaresque Studio is a game development studio working remotely across Europe.

History

We are all professionals of the game industry with very different background experiences but all passionate in gaming and storytelling. We come from experiences, in companies like Mercurysteam, Geniaware and Ubisoft, on titles such as the Castlevania:Lords of Shadow trilogy and Lords of Football. We developed on platforms ranging from PS3 to X360, 3DS and PC. We are friends who previously worked together and eventually decided to team up to bring their personal game’s vision to the world. We decided to name our “creature” Picaresque Studio because we feel like the antiheroes of the picaresque novel: low class characters struggling to make their way up. We want to reflect this into our products. This studio is not meant to be just a game develeopment company: we aim to create interactive storytelling experiences, to explore different media. Picaresque Studio is made of passionate gamers and we're designing our games with you in mind.
