I have implemented UI aspect ratio correction (with centering) for menus and the world. I hope to release 0.0.2 tonight.
It's still a work in progress and I cannot get nametags projected in screenspace correctly while the UI is centered horizontally. The game isn't playable like that - you should not have to decide between nametags in the right location or UI elements on the wrong monitor.
I will add a key binding to switch between UI centering, however. If you don't need it (e.g. 21:9), then 0.0.2 is actually a functional product. If you're running 3-monitor wide setup, it needs more work.
I will also setup a GitHub project specifically for this fix in the coming days.
Yes, the version available for download right now is just for stability testing (the UI is not properly scaled). I want to know if it causes any crashes at startup before I put much more work into it.
Ctrl + Shift + A will switch between aspect ratio correction on/off so you can see the difference.

Can you paste a copy of logs/tzfix.log, logs/d3d9.log and logs/steam_api.log to pastebin.com and link them here so I can debug it?
Yeah, you need to turn Depth of Field off if you run at a resolution wider than 16:9 for now. I will fix Capcom's vertex shader in a future version.
The mini-map is giving me a LOT of trouble right now, I can't get the bottom of it to move. Certain menu items will also be squished, but that is fixed in 0.0.2 and I will be releasing that for download tonight.

edit: maybe I need to update my nvidia drivers?
No, I think I see what the problem is for you. It's with Steam - I'll upload 0.0.2 now for testing.
Are you using GeDoSaTo by any chance? That has been causing Steam related problems for a few versions now.
Either way, I think this version has a workaround for that:
https://github.com/Kaldaien/TZF/releases/download/tzf_130/ddfix_002.zip
That version also has proper UI centering support. You can switch that feature on/off while the game is running by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Z.
Thanks for your hard work, we all appreciate it.
Right now, I am running into the following issues (other than the UI, which you are working on):
1. Launching the game fails (most of the time). I have to launch it repetitively in order for it to succeed.
2. When entering the Rift, the game crashes (interacting with a Riftstone, checkpoint occurs, but as the Rift begins to load the game crashes.)
Removing the .dll files appears to solve both issues, so it doesn't appear to be a problem with DDDA.
My logs are here:

Here are event viewer instances of when the game fails to launch:

I'll see if I can grab a report on the crash as well.
Turning into the new Durante, I'd say.
I'll be following this and picking up the game when you've got this finalized. Until then.. good luck, and thank you.
Here is the event log and the crash report, if they can be of any help: http://pastebin.com/a6phV727
Which problem in particular? The failure to launch or the crash? GeDoSaTo was causing some weird issues with failing to launch, and in my own testing I had to click Deactivate and then click Activate again.
Crash related issues _after_ the game has started, however, would be a different matter. I have only been focusing on startup because the rest of the code has been pretty well tested in a lot of other games. It's startup that's sort of rocky right now :-\
